Thanks, Frank, for helping me with the complexities and tricks of setting up one of these mofos, or blogs, as it may be. So, I'm not quite done laying it out and all (adding graphics and nifty stuff), but I think this is going to remain the general idea. I'm new at this HTML thing, so be patient when there's suddenly a line sticking out by 47 pixels or something else stupid. I'll also avoid using ellipses on this blog...
Did you honestly think I could?
Moving out makes me sentimental. You go through everything that you've picked up over the past year (and before)--especially the things you put away to forget and the things you lost and couldn't find when you needed them. And then you have to figure out what you're going to do with all the random things you've picked up: you know, the sword, the bass, the cognac, the Benjamin Franklin Cup....
Clemens pitches for 299 "at home" tonight. Cross your fingers; Boston fans, think of it as adding emphasis to the finger.
And Longwave is a great band. Frank shared some of their files with me and I'm running to the store to get their CD--The Strangest Things. Great riffs, sweet use of vocals and full use of their band. A very melodic sound. Their kind of a British rock version of Guster....I think...
Point is, they're good.
Tomorrow will be the start of a rant on postmodernism....or chocolate chip cookies....
