(Apologies for the heaviness of this post--it's been a long week)
If only I took my own advice. Someone, please learn from my mistakes.

GreekG17: dude, this summer started out as a dream come true....
GreekG17: then i sacrificed the dream for a girl....
GreekG17: then i took on a job to recreate that dream....
GreekG17: then the girl and the job fell through....
GreekG17: leaving the dream in dreamland...
GreekG17: that's reality...
GreekG17: there's nothing you can say to make that better...in fact, there's nothing you can do to change that....they're just decisions and consequences i have to live with....
GreekG17: and learn from...
GreekG17: sometimes you get dealt a good hand, sometimes it's crappy...
GreekG17: when it's crappy, you have to play the walls, the lines, the boundaries, the limits and make something out of it....
GreekG17: i didn't.....i told myself it was a good hand...
GreekG17: and believed it....
GreekG17: and so i got what was coming to me when i only had a pair of twos to show for it...
GreekG17: luck is what you're dealt, success is something you create.....

Luck doesn't need a guiding hand, it needs a tether and a bullwhip.
Never trust yourself to luck, unless you enjoy disappointment at least 50% of the time.

This summer, I'm discarding four and showing my ace--who knows what I've got up my sleeve. Who's in?
