If you want a postcard from Geneva, I need your address. If you want chocolate or watches, place your orders early.

When I made a decision not to attend law school in my senior year of college, I was happy with the decision. Happy that I wasn't taking the path of least resistance. Happy because I didn't know the value of the knowledge available through a legal education.

So now, having dealt with lawyers, and facing legal implications with almost every step my business takes, I've gained a lot more respect for it.

Basically, I'm rationalizing why I'm going to destroy my social life for the next 3-4 years. I've been accepted to St. John's University School of Law and received a very generous scholarship. It's tough to turn down, particularly because it will allow me to continue working full-time, so I probably won't.

It means I also need to get a car. I'm open to ideas. Something eco-friendly would be great too.

But in the meantime, there's a place where (finance) litigation is essentially useless and where electric cars have been cruising silently for years--so I'll take a week in Switzerland and see what I discover about life, mountain air and Patek Philippe.

Don't forget to write!
